With Read for My School, there are no setup costs, donation minimums, or time restrictions for using our reading and fundraising service. When you create your free account, you can promote your reading event fundraiser when you want and for as long as you need it.
Through the Read for My School app, families have one-click access to build a bookshelf, track and manage reading records, make pledge donations, and share their personal page with donors to raise money for their school fundraiser.

YES! Read for My School provides you with grade-level, age-appropriate book recommendations to support your school fundraiser. Just click on the BOOKS section in our mobile app to see updated book lists that will help guide your parents to the right content to read with their child. Parents and students can even use our mobile BOOK SCANNER (only available in our iOS and Android apps) to scan any book that they are reading on their personal bookshelf.
YES! Read for My School is built so that you can promote a school fundraiser and manage it with one volunteer resource - YOU! We provide the platform tools and support services to help you create, manage, and promote a fundraiser without any additional volunteer or faculty assistance.

Stripe is a 3rd party credit card processing company and service provider that handles all of the online pledge donation transactions for your fundraiser. Read for My School has partnered with Stripe due to its safe and secure payment processing platform as well as financial services provided to our customers.
Stripe is FREE to setup and once connected to your fundraiser account on Read for My School, allows for you to have direct access to the funds you've raised throughout the duration of your fundraiser.
Once you create or connect your Stripe account to your RFMS fundraiser, you will have a direct connection with your profits you earn! This way, you can tell Stripe when you would like profits to be wired from your Stripe account directly to your preferred bank account. How cool is that!!!
Read for My School provides you a white label credit card payment processing solution that is FREE to set up and allow you to control how you would like your profits distributed to you. Stripe also provides your donors with a safe and secure credit card transaction process that is seamless and reliable!

Read for My School supports US (USD), UK (GBP), EU (Euro), Canadian (C$) and Australian Dollar (A$) currencies. We are always looking to support new territories so please send us a request via our in-app support to discuss your fundraising requirements.
Yes! We are excited to announce that UK-based fundraisers on our platform can now track Gift Aid opportunities directly in our app! Now donors looking to add additional financial assistance to your fundraiser can qualify through Gift Aid. Read for My School provides you all the tracking you need to connect and distribute a Gift Aid form and take advantage of this wonderful scheme.

YES! Read for My School knows that fundraising is challenging so we've created materials that you can download instantly through our toolkit. RFMS also provides customized faculty and parent letters that you can build and print out to help promote and support your fundraiser launch. The letter includes your goals as well as instruction for your families to register to your fundraiser.

YES! Read for My School provides you with the tools to create a custom reading challenge for your classroom. Just create your FREE account and in your administrator dashboard, create a classroom team that you can manage.
To build a team, go to your TEAMS page and select CREATE TEAM. Then, invite your parents and students to join the team you created through your custom parent letter. Once your students are registered, you are ready to go!

Yes! With Read for My School, you have complete control of your personal reading record to track books and support your fundraiser. Just click on the main RFMS logo button and select READ. Then, select a book from your bookshelf that you are currently reading. You can have multiple books on your bookshelf just in case you are an avid reader! To add a book to your bookshelf, use our new Book Scanner to scan the ISBN number of the book you are reading. That's it! Your book scanner is available on our native apps for mobile phones providing you an easy way to track any book that you want to add to your bookshelf.

Yes! Read for My School provides you and your families a safe and secure fundraising platform that works for you and is 100% COPPA compliant. We provide you with the tools to post a display name as well as option to select a cool avatar eliminating the concern about displaying personal data throughout the duration of your fundraiser. More importantly, we do not sell or share personal data so you can feel safe when tracking and sharing your child's reading achievements to raise money for your school!

Unlike other online fundraising solutions, Read for My School provides you with a simple and easy way to share your fundraiser with others. Once you set up your reading and fundraising teams, you have one-click access to distribute one invite code to everyone. Families use your private invite code to register their child to the appropriate team that you've set up! It's that easy. Also, you can share your code either through a custom parent letter that you can print out or digitally through sharing or posting your invite link.

Read for My School supports a variety of sign-in methods to give your customers options to choose from when joining your fundraiser. Read for My School supports Facebook, Google GSuite/Gmail, and personal email. For anonymous or personal email, we send a verification link to provide a extra layer of security for you and your school.
